Founders Holiday ‘Packing’ Essentials
As a Wellness Company Founder, I’m passionate about all things ‘health’ and have been for decades. It’s led me to delve deep into many ‘rabbit holes’ and I make my own judgement and try to live in balance in this world we live in!
My passion is self optimisation and try to feel the best I can as often as I can. When we’re at home with all our comforts, luxuries and conveniences around us, it’s a lot easier to ‘stay on track’. When we travel, many daily health rituals usually go out the window, I used to live like this, until I was getting bloated on the beach after the bread and cocktails. It didn’t make me feel good. I would get constipated from the lack of movement, bread (again!) and fewer juices, fresh fruit and the stress of travelling and airports. So I decided to prioritise my main health rituals every day. Even on holiday and it’s made a huge difference to how I feel, even with more flexibility in my routines.
So what’s in my bag???
Nuxe Oil and Neom Body Oil - I love them both I can’t choose - I use the Nuxe all over my body, face and my hair, it’s natural and the smell now reminds me of ‘holidays’ they’re the ultimate ‘after sun.’
Supernova Sachets (and the hand whisk!) - I take it to breakfast and either ask the staff to blend it with milk or I do it at the table. At least after a Supernova I know I’ve got a solid amount of protein, vitamin C and prebiotics so I won’t bloat on the beach (or be constipated!)
Oshun - I’ve just discovered these concentrated electrolytes which I love to help me remineralise on waking, after sweating out the pool, the gym or a tennis / Pilates class! I can just add it to my water for adding nutrition.
Supernova Bottle - I hate warm water in the sun, or drinking from plastic bottles (which when they get hot release endocrine distrusting chemicals) our bottle is triple insulated and keeps drinks cold for hours by the pool or to take to explore the town. Fill it up at breakfast and you’re good to go! Or shake your Supernova in it…
Liposomal Vitamin C - I often get a core sore popping up, only in the sun now, so I take extra vitamin C to try and prevent them. If I do feel a tingle, the high dose Vit C often prevent it from getting worse.
Digest tea bags - I’m a little more lax on holiday regarding food but then pay for it with bloating in an evening so these tea bags are great to aid digestion after a big meal.
Far Infra red mask, soothes sun kissed skin and boosts collagen production plus I find it so calming before bed.
Ankle weights - Studio 34, for a little extra resistance on the sunrise hikes.
Nose breathing device - Silent Mammoth, great for opening up airways and getting into a deep REM sleep.
Shade - mineral suncream with absolutely no nasties or toxic chemicals. Just a few ingredients.
A natural face serum/ oil / cream that my aunty made - I can’t quite remember the recipe but I will find out. Very pure oils and bases and gives a summer ‘glow’ (shine!)
Norfolk perfumes - as natural as you can get apparently….so no nasty endocrine disruptors, trying them out so we’ll see. The tiny sample packs are perfect for travelling.
RMS - natural lip gloss for a subtle dewy glow.
